Global technology and specialty materials company celanese announced today that it is fining the acquisition of Next Polymers, LLC, a co-manufacturer of engineering thermoplastics (ETP) produced by indo *, India.

The acquisition will allow celanese to expand its global manufacturing footprint by adding a new manufacturing facility in India.
Celanese's world * blending plant and 10 production lines in India will support the rapidly growing local customer demand in the market and tap into its potential export base.
The acquisition also enhances celanese's blending capacity for post-industrial materials, an increasingly important area of concern and reinforces the company's commitment to waste reduction and environmental responsibility.
Celanese is integrating the Next Polymer ETP portfolio into its engineering materials business, which will include:
Nylon 6 and nylon 66
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene
Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA)
Next Polymers specializes in producing a wide variety of custom ETP blends, and is based in sivasa, dhahla-nagalhavili federal prime minister, mumbai, India, with an annual production capacity of around 20,000 tonnes.
