1. Influence of different antibacterial agents on material properties
The effect of inorganic antibacterial agent RHA - 2 and compound antibacterial agent VP101KJ on the antibacterial rate, mechanical properties and material appearance of glass fiber reinforced PP was studied when the addition amount of both was 0.4%.Adding compound antibacterial agent VP101KJ material, after 50℃ water 350 h test antibacterial rate reached 99.1%, much higher than inorganic antibacterial agent rha-2 antibacterial rate of 56.5%.No matter adding inorganic antibacterial agent RHA - 2 or compound antibacterial agent VP101KJ, the mechanical properties of the materials changed little.

When the dosage is 0.4%, the antibacterial rate of glass fiber reinforced PP material is more than 99%.Under the optimal extrusion process conditions, the antibacterial rate of the reinforced PP material reached 99.6%, the tensile strength reached 82.9mpa, the bending strength reached 96.7mpa, and the notch impact strength reached 15.3kj /m2.The high performance antibacterial PP material has been applied in the fan blades of a Japanese automobile brand.
