Leather goods and leather shoes from China will be included in the 10 percent tariff

The raw leather and leather association of the United States confirmed that it will add 10 percent tariffs on $300 billion in Chinese goods, including leather goods and leather shoes from China, starting Sept. 1.

U.S. President Donald trump announced in early August that trade talks with China were moving slowly, saying he would impose a new 10 percent tariff on Chinese products.The new tariff list includes a wide range of leather shoes, trainers and golf shoes made of leather from China.Raw leather is also on the list, but the United States exports far more raw leather to China than it imports from China.
