A. hot cylinder method
The separation device consists of an electrically heated chrome-plated material cylinder and an inner hollow cylinder (drum) with a scraper, which is connected with the wall of the heating cylinder, and the two are rotated in reverse, and the bottom of the cylinder is connected with a material trough.The material is added from the feed, the plastic composition and the hot cylinder once contact begins to melt, adhere to the drum wall, scrape with a scraper, fall into the trough.This method can separate more than 90% of the plastic and paper, has been separated from the plastic paper content is very small, can be controlled in 1%.
B. hot air flow method
The separation of plastic film and paper is realized by using the principle of reducing specific area by shrinkage of plastic film in case of heat.The mixture of film and paper is sent to the heating area, where the heating box can be an agricultural grain dryer, which is granular, thus reducing its surface area. The mixture is then fed to an air separator, where the air flow carries the paper from the mixture and the thermoplastic particles fall to the bottom of the separator.This almost completely separates the plastic from the paper.
2. Wet method
The light material from the dry separation equipment is fed to the shredder, where the pulp comes out through the holes in the separation plate, and the plastic is discharged through a separation outlet, which is then fed to the dehydrator and then to the air separator for separation.
3. Electric separation method
A mixture of paper and plastic is fed into a separator by a vibrating feeder, which falls into a rotating crushing drum. It is then sent to a corona region formed between the wire electrodes and the crushing.When using this method, humidity has a great impact on the separation results. When the mixture humidity is 15%, although the paper and plastic can be separated, the plasticity will still be polluted by a lot of paper. When the humidity is increased to more than 50%, the plastic and paper can be completely separated.
